Alternatives
Podium alternatives for small businesses
Podium is known for customer messaging, texting, payments and review requests. If the job you actually need done is replying well to the Google reviews you already get, a smaller tool may fit.
When Podium makes sense.
For Podium's current plans and features, check its own site.
- You want customers to text your business and get replies in one inbox.
- You want to send review invitations by text at scale.
- You take payments over messaging.
When a lighter tool fits.
- Reviews already come in and your gap is replying to them.
- You don't need a shared messaging inbox.
- You'd rather not change how customers contact you.
How ReplyPlate fits.
ReplyPlate is a Chrome extension: on your Google reviews page it adds a Plate reply button, drafts a warm reply in your voice, and you edit and post it. It doesn't text customers, request reviews or take payments. That narrow scope is the point.
